Why LieslNet is free
The service provided here is free of charge. There are no subscription fees or usernames required. The reason for this is that I would like to keep the information fully accessible to all. I believe everyone should have an equal opportunity to access this personal development resource regardless of their ability to pay, so I am striving to keep this site free of any charges for as long as I can. Of course, there are financial costs associated with hosting the site and there is a huge time and effort cost on my part in order to write insightful articles and maintain the website (especially while working and studying full time). But I will continue to do it as long as it is providing a useful service to you.

Ads
I agonised over whether to have ads on LieslNet. I did not want to have anything on this site that would distract or disturb my readers. In the end I choose to include the ads for two reasons. Firstly LieslNet needs to generate enough income to support itself. If it cannot support itself I will not be able to keep it online and my readers would be deprived of a valuable personal development resource.
But what really convinced me to include the ads were the ads themselves. I chose Google ads because I could optimize them to be related to the topic of each page. The ads are links to other websites and tools that are focused on self growth. These ads only generate income for LieslNet when they are relevant enough to inspire you to click them. I realized that once I optimized them the ads are actually very useful and pertinent to the personal development issues discussed on LieslNet. Thus the ads themselves are providing yet another useful personal development resource to my readers. So I had to include them.
Pass on the word
As a new site, the biggest challenge for LieslNet is getting itself known in the vast worldwide web. This site has no advertising budget and therefore relies solely on word of mouth (or word of email :) ) for advertising. If you find that this site has been useful to you or you believe that it could be helpful to your friends, please pass it along to them. They will thank you for it. Almost everyone I meet is working on improving some personal area. They don't always advertise that fact but they do appreciate any resources that could help.
