You can make use of Social Bookmarking Websites to further increase your backlinks and really give your articles authority by bookmarking them on those different article directories. Social Bookmark sites include Digg, Buddymarks, Delicious, Jumptags, and BMaccess.

Again, you will need accounts on these social bookmarking sites in order to bookmark your articles there. This account creation process can be tedious but again you can go into the grey hat area and automate your account creation. Once you have bookmarked your articles, you increase your backlinks even more.

And, believe it or not, there is still more that you can do to increase your backlinks through these articles. You can even further increase the backlinks to your site and your search engine popularity through the use of RSS feeds. Submit those article urls to the RSS feed aggregator sites like Feedage, Goldenfeed, RSSmountain, and AZFeeds. And yup, you will have increased the backlinks even more.

So if you have followed this process completely, off of your one single article you now have hundreds of backlinks to your website. And hundreds of backlinks translates to an increase in search engine rankings. If you keep repeating this process of writing an article, spinning it, submitting it to article directories, bookmarking it on social bookmarking websites and making use of RSS feeds, sooner or later you website is likely to turn up on the 1st page of the search engine results.
