Hi…
I just got engaged to a guy I totally don’t know him but all I noticed about him is the socioeconomic differences between my family and his. and now am finding gaps between my thought and his .at the other wise he is a good family man, responsible he care about me too much, wanna do anything to make me happy and comfortable, but when we hang out together I don’t like to spend time with him and am feeling shy from his family, he is not well educated and he don’t have a clue how to improve himself. My mother told me that the attribute of a family man doesn’t existing those days, and those things I don’t like are changeable, please I need an advice.

Dear Adiola,
its a pity that you still allow your mum to control you at this age. All you need to do is just for you to sit her down and tell her your reasons why you think that you can marry the guy by the time you are through with your explanations i can bet with you that she will let you be ok? And one more thing make sure that you talk things over with him ok? all the best.
